Alexis Whipple is the product of friendly Vermont hippies. Her permanent smile and dazed mind comes from her mother, who accidentally fed her one too many brownie edibles — mainly because her parents kept eating the regular brownies after their “green journeys."  Her love for puppies, fashion, and pop culture is what keeps the bond so strong between Barbra, Céleste, and herself.
